Save the Kids rooted in hip-hop programming has gone to a whole new level with having DJ Maestro joining the STK staff as the Hip-Hop Education Program Coordinator and R Source helping Save the Kids by volunteering his time by promoting and supporting the youth in recording and teaching them the hip-hop business and industry. These two people together with STK are going to do amazing things for the kids. Every Sunday R Source, Anthony Nocella, and DJ Maestro head to Hillbrook Youth Detention Facility to provide an Express Yourself! program for the kids that are locked up. The program is dedicated to group-building, anger management, and cultural and diversity awareness rooted all in RESPECTING the power of personal expression and how others express themselves no matter if they are happy, sad, mad, or excited!
